What I found in my garden today

My plants seem to be happy today.

First, my pale, pale pink hardy hibiscus that I dug out of a ditch and my newest phlox:

My portulaca is prettier this year than it ever has been:

My blue contributions, the second round of blooms by my spiderwort, and my first bloom on my blue peavine.

I've begun adding knockout roses to my gardens because I'm tired of having to coddle hybrid teas:

This is a new plant I bought today without knowing what it was. I'm surprised and very pleased; the one of the right is the first bloom on my yellow daylily.

My coral double impatiens has bloomed its heart out this summer and just keeps on going. Who would think the close up is from an impatien and not a begonia.

They are all so lovely. Your new plant is a Gaura or whirling butterflies. It looks like it may be pink cloud apple blossom grass. TFS
