Those are so pretty smurfy. I really like the way the red zinnias pop so pretty.

Here are some blooms the very first of Mirablis longiflora ( native desert 4 o'clock) that I grew from seed, a 12 " tall volunteer Helianthus argophylus (silverleafed sunflower, my 8 ' red Salvia Regla from the Big Bend, and the snakweed just about to open up in smoky yellow umbels. I am not sure in what order the photos wet up so you will have to figure out which is which.

MR, I went out and took photos to post here, but my hands were so unsteady (I've been sick for the last couple of weeks) the photos were awful. I may try again. But thanks for posting this thread!
