Side By Side *

Yesterday while out in my garden after quite a while, I turned around and saw this.

Lady Margaret passies

A short while later, these two opened.

Star of Clevedon passie

Side by Side - two at a time

Nature is really something. When I first stepped outside, neither passiflora was in bloom. Then, viola

Hi RR,
Thanks! Yep, love those bloomin' surprises!

BFG,
And I take it as a very nice compliment from you. I'll check into PS book submissions. Thanks again!

NJCgirl-thanks. Well, I haven't seen seed pods on these of yet. I planted both passifloras earlier this year. Both passies are in pots as well.

Thanks tiger!

Thanks GT and smurfy.
Yes, I set out this year to grow passiflora vines and, for the most part, succeeded. It is rather hard tho to grow them in pots rather than in-ground.

Thanks mr, PUD, Penny and Patricia531.

Patricia, I see you are in the same zone as I. Are yours perennial or do you overwinter? Are yours inground and do yours make a seed pod? I know, many questions,as we could relate since we have same planting zone and are both growing the lovely Lady Margaret! Lady Margaret has two more blooms this a.m. Love her!

Mine will overwinter in the ground now that it has had time to get established. I have never had a seed pod on it.
