For quite a while, I was hooked on dwarf singapore Plumeria because of their small size and ease to overwinter in a small GH, but I have discovered what I think is a pretty nice Plumeria (
Plumeria pudica). It is a different species from the well known Hawaiian Plumeria, but has very eyecatching foliage, doesn't grow nearly as fast, can be maintained at a reasonable size, and best of all, blooms prolifically, even in the winter GH. Mine has bloomed continuously from the time I got it in spring, all summer, all fall and now into winter in a protected GH. The only bad thing about it is that this species doesn't have the fragrance, and only comes in white.
