Plant ID Help?

Can anyone help us ID this plant. It has fuzzy leaves and blooms and we were told it gets to be a 10-12 ft tall shrub. The leaves are fragrant, reminds me of mint or oregeno. Seems to do well in partial shade or in full sun. We bought a few of them from a butterfly nursery on the east coast of Florida that was going out of business. They called it a Florida liliac, but I can't find any information on a plant under that name.

Hi KlassAct, it's good to meet you.

My first guess is that your plant is Cornutia grandifolia, which I've heard called "Jamaican Lilac".

Mystery solved

Thansk so much - I've had 3 biologists trying to idenitfy the plant and they were all stumped.
