Oh, How Long The Wait!

Couldn't believe it yesterday as I looked out of my kitchen window and saw this! Oh, How Long The Wait!

My Chinese Wisteria finally bloomed after waiting some four years of growing in a pot!

At closer look, I saw two blooms reaching for the sky entwined in my loropetalum tree!

And yes, I had to pull out my ladder for shots!

For more reading on my first wisteria and the wait, check this out.

Where is skay, she was closely following this.

Thanks RB and brenbren!

And today, my Chinese wisteria is towering above my umbrella, entwined in my leropetalum doing it's thing.

Didn't think I'd be seeing my wisteria grow in the area it has but I'm fine with it since it needs sunlight and I think that is the key to blooms, sunlight and plenty of it!

Thanks y'all! And what a wait but well worth it! I started some of their vines along the middle to upper part of my wooden fence last year so I'm hoping for an interesting view if the Chinese wisteria start to bloom off that vine. And ,would you believe the vine you see above the umbrella is coming from this; two separate Chinese wisteria in pot!
