My Orchids


Hi everyone,

I have 3 hobbies chili peppers, freshwater aquarium and orchid, this post is from orchids... I have more than 200 varieties in my house... Need more space!

I'll start with a very famous BLC. the "Alma Kee" it's one of my favorite orchid!

I hear there is an awful lot of coffee in Brazil, but not Orchids.

Absolutely stunning.

Wow those are really gorgeous. 200 that is a lot! I bet your place is just wonderful when they are all blooming!

I would love to know how you get you Catts to flower. I have Phals do you have any of those?

Hello everyone!

Glad to know that you appreciate orchids as I appreciate the ... Here in Brazil we have many varieties of orchids (about 350 genera has its origins in Central and South America) and tropical climate also helps a lot!

Yep, Brazil is not just coffee, carnival and soccer...

Hehe! I need more space!!!

Here in Brazil, caring appropriately (fertilization, substrate, humidity, temperature, lighting) the catts usually blossom but in the U.S. may be different due to weather conditions. Here, summer is usually long, intense and rainy while winter is usually short, mild and dry... I know that regions where the winter is rigorous you can only make the catts bloom in greenhouses with controlled temperature. I think maybe the climate of your region is not offering conditions to flourish.... But the ideal is to ask someone who knows the climate of their region to give the necessary instructions...

Yeah, I have Phals the next time I post here will put some photos of them mmmkay?
