Most Unusual

What is the most unusual looking flower you have ever grown? Mine I had bought I would say is a venus fly trap. Do they grow outside in tropical zones?

About the plant. It is very unusual. How do you grow it? What is the name of the plant? Where did you get it? It is really a cool looking plant.

The most unusual thing I've grown was an elephant ear that bloomed! I've planted elephant ears for years but I had never seen them bloom. I had 2 plants last year that bloomed for a few weeks. It was a very unusual-looking bloom that came out of the center of the plant. It resembled a calla lily bloom and had a smell sort of like cat urine! But thankfully, you couldn't smell the bloom unless you got really close to it. Has anyone else ever had an elephant ear to bloom?

I've grown the Devil's Claw before. Yes it is very unusual and the leaves are very sticky to touch. Didn't like that part. And I read that you shouldn't keep those plants around animals because of the seed pods really go deep in their legs and cause trouble for them. I can't remember exactly what, but I thought you should know. That's why I quit growing them.

The most unusual flower for me is my purple Passion flower. I can't put a pic. but it is really unusual and very beautiful vining flower. I just love it. I may have some for trade later. If you are interested, ask me later in June, I think that's when they start coming up good.
