Mexican Petunias, towering high!

I planted purple Mexican petunias, I would say several years ago, in my west garden. Today they are towering extremely high, some 6ft or so. Take a look! I've never seen them this high.

A beautiful spectacle in my west garden as well as the showstopper at this time!

Your's are beautiful but I kill and chop them out here because of their invasiveness. They take over everything so be careful where you put them. I've even tried digging them out but they have a healthy root system and keep coming back.

Love them lady.
Are there seeds to share?
Wanna try it here?

Do you need poppy seeds or something to swap?

Thanks zuzu, Beavercreek (haven't seen you around in quite a while) and bali!

Beavercreek, mine can easily be pulled out, fortunately, so they are not a problem to me at all. I've been growing these since March of 2012 and purchased them in Mobile. I'd love to get the pink ones. I also have the purple dwarf Mexican petunias growing in the garden as well.

bali, I'll keep an eye out to see if I will see seedpods. From what I can recall, I've not seen them of yet.

Ooo, I'm so glad that I saw your post today.

I am planning to mail out a couple of pkgs this coming week, including one to you - I can include some dwarf (24") pink Ruellia (tag lost, so I'm guessing, but I think it may be R. brittoniana 'Chi Chi'), if you would like to have it?

Oh, you are so sweet zuzu! Yes, I would like to have some pink dwarfs. I'm really looking for the standard pink Mexican petunias that will/may grow high like the purple ones!
