It's Amaryllis TimeAH, what a wonderful sight to see a beautiful amaryllis bloom popping out in the spring garden. This one bloomed through our recent 35 degree night unharmed even though it is a "florist variety" not known to be as hardy, but the bulbs made it through our below freezing winter fine in Austin. I have several other varieties that will be blooming soon in succession. Wished they bloomed throughout the summer, but alas, their show is short lived - but worth every minute of it |

| That looks a lot like the ones we inherited from my grandfather-in-law, except yours looks like a double bloom. All of mine are flowering right now. I really like these flowers as they last a long time and look great. |

| I had several Amaryllis growers from Landspro Forum identify it as "Rosetta". This may well be it's name. |

| WOW, WOW, WOW! I've never seen an amaryllis in the garden in my life. In Maryland, the stores are full of them at Christmas-time for forcing indoors, but they'd never survive outside. What a treat to have one in your garden! |
