SmileWelcome to PlantSwap, Joe!

No harm in trying, right Bali?
Most Glads I grow are not reputed to be reliably hardy much beyond zone 8 (maybe 7 with heavy mulch) but, sometimes plants really surprise me with their hardiness beyond the "suggested" zones, and by keeping at least some of your gladiolus corms stored away safely, as Bali describes, you'll know that all will not be lost if the experiment doesn't work out.

If you do decide to dig-and-store at least some of them, these instructions work for me:

Quote :
https://www.whiteflowerfarm.com/how-to-grow-gladiolus

"To save the corms for the following year, dig them up before the first frost date, wash soil off, and cut the stems to within " of the corm. Dry the corms for 23 weeks in a warm, airy place. Store in mesh bags (or old nylon stockings) at 35-45F in a well-ventilated area until time to replant."
