cup and saucer flower today in Penna

Here is an new discovery in my garden today..

I Think it is the cup and saucer plant.
Any one know for sure.Tell me about it .. I thought it started this year??

I think that you are probably right about the ID - it's an annual vine, right?
I don't know a whole lot about it - whatever you are doing is working - keep it up.

It is to rain badly by noon....
Blue for a while.
Not a vine I dont think.. It is just standing there....I have to go read on it myself......

Okay then, it's just me getting my feet tangled up in common names again.

This is probably what they call "Cup and Saucer" Campanula - a close relative of the Canterbury Bells
that you posted a picture of recently.

I was thinking of "Cup and Saucer Vine" (Cobaea scandens) - my mistake.

The wonderful angle that you took the photo from made me imagine that it was quite a tall plant.
