Angel trumpet seed pods

I have a whole ziplock baggie FULL of seed pods from my double purple angel trumpet. I was told the whole pod itself can be planted and new plantlets will form. Would anyone like some of them?

Gayle, I'll look this afternoon when I get home of how many I have left. It will tomorrow before I can let you know since my computer crashed at home yesterday.

Hello

Just so everyone knows, these are Datura (as opposed to Brugmansia.)

Just a suggestion - I have found that they mold if kept in sealed plastic, if not absolutely dry beforehand.

Not a Brugmansia Pod,, but daturas are lovely too,, be careful with spines

hello dear friend, if they have spiny pods they are not brugmansias, but double daturas,, the ones point up with the spines, the angels trumpets point down and the brugs are not self pollinating, and have smooth pods long like pea pods sort of with no spines,, Blessings, beth

Sorry I am out of the seed pods. I have flowers on that plant now and if more seed pods develop after the blooms fall off I'll save some for you.
