Plant Swap notices

I've added a module to the site's home page that lists plant swaps posted to the calendar.

How come the Austin-San Antonio Plant Swap in Buda on Oct 27th didn't show in the new module?

It only shows events scheduled within the next 30 days. It should start showing in a week. Should I expand the time window?

I know that it usually takes me more than 30 days of lead time to
arrange my schedule to attend an out-of-town event.
To be honest, 60-90 days is what it generally takes to get my ducks in a row.
Less notice than that and I just give it up as "un-do-able".
