New to swappingHello. I am new to on-line plant swaps but thought I'd give it a try. I'm in the Baltimore area and would love to trade with any gardeners around here but will trade with good people anywhere. Here are my want and have lists: HAVE (I only know the common names): yellow iris (very fragrant) grape hyacinth (lots) resurrection lilies (tons) 2 bird's nest spruce (will dig up the entire bush for the right trade) blue carpet spruce (again, I can dig up the whole thing) hibiscus (red or hot pink, I can't remember--again, more digging) phlox pachysandra lily of the valley (white or pink) cuttings from my fig bush rosemary cuttings thyme cuttings suckers from lilac suckers from forsythia (or the whole thing if you live nearby) oregano garlic chives mulberry saplings 2 holly saplings (about 1 foot high, very healthy) pampas grass powder blue festuca (another ornamental grass) fountain grass (I think that's what this is) wild strawberries (ground-cover or weed depending on your perspective) WANTS: a climber for mostly shade (flowers, fruit or veggies, not just greenery) vinca (solid green, not variegated) irish moss; any regular old moss loriope blue hydrangeas climbing hydrangea strawberries (cultivated, not wild) any sunflowers anything daisy-like in red/orange/yellow/white (rubeckia, gaillardia, echinacea, chrysanthemum, coreopsis, marguerite, aster, etc.) coral bells (heuchera sanguinea or any type) Blue chip campanula (campanula carpatica or any type) primroses bleeding hearts ferns hostas astilbe In general, I have shade, I have sun, I'm planning a red/orange/yellow garden and another in blues and whites. So I have a place for almost anything that grows in zone 7. I have high hopes for this new swapping experience! Last edited by diana; 05-23-2007 at 09:16 AM. |

I will swapHi there, I am very new at this, so I am not sure how it works. However, I have a number of teh plants that you requested and would ove some of yours. I have marguerite daisies, lillies, hosta and fern. I also have black eyed susies (daisy-like). I live in NY and could swap via the mail if that works for you. |
