This is the same as what smurfy told you about the crocus...these are bulbs and they are sold in the fall time for planting..most people will not even know were their bulbs are planted right now because they are a spring blooming flower and have died back already.

In the fall you may be able to find some trades for them if people have extras after planting. This is NOT the time of year to plant bulbs of any kind.

Please try again for bulbs in the fall In the spring you may find trades also as the bulbs start to sprout and people see were they are and what kind.

Hyacinths do have seed, but most people chop them off as they use up energy the bulb needs for next years flowers. If you want spring bulbs your better off buying them in sept or octob when the walmart's and lowes put them out, or order catalogs online. Here's a few to search for: Park seed, jungs, henry fields, brecks, van bourgondien, holland bulbs, and four seasons nurseries.

P.S. Hyacinths take 6-7 years to bloom from seed.
