Don't laughPlease go easy on me! But I figure, if I don't ask, nothing gained. Are there any single women in their 30's or late 20's, who might be interested in potential future romance with a 31 going on 32 year old intellectual, nature loving, book loving, guy? I know this may sound corny, and probably sending most of you off in peals of laughter, but bear with me! I have begun a new professional life doing what I'm most passionate about - growing plants! And realized I'm really missing having somebody to share life with. Since this is the "exchange" - I would offer a lifetime of knowledge about plants Not sure if anything will come out of this; it may even get deleted... but here goes. Jude |

| Long distances makes courtship difficult. You might try joining local gardening clubs (or meeting people at nurseries). Perhaps you'll find a cute landscape designer as your business grows. Best wishes. ![]()

| I wish you the best of luck Jude, I know your age group has it difficult, but you will find that perfect match. I am married 25 years, and sorry to say, I only have sons, no daughter I could introduce you to :-/ Who knows, maybe one of the members here know of a girl that is looking too. ![]()

ThanksThank you - Craigslist, however, is full of spammers who just want you to sign up on their porn site, believe it or not. Not my cup of tea A lonely hearts forum - not a bad idea - that way gardeners could find each other ![]() |

| You are in a seeking/receptive mode, that is a good start. Keep yourself open to surprises from unexpected sources. ![]() Hubby and I are the result of an ambush set up, about 33 years ago,and I still wonder if the couple who introduced us was just trying to jerk our chains. You could hardly imagine a more unlikely match, I was the barefoot-war-protesting-hippie-chick and he was the Viet Nam vet-biker-guy-in-steel-toed boots. We did have a few interests in common, including plants ... not enough to build a relationship on, but enough to get us started learning more about each other. Turns out those folks did a better job matching us up than they did for themselves - sad to say they were divorced a couple of years later.Hoping that you find your special someone, ![]() maybe you'll meet her through your business.

My hubby was living across the street and I was too busy to notice.Working a full time job, single mom with a little girl who was the love of my life. Then one night after mowing the lawn I was resting on the porch and saw a skunk run across the road-except I thought it was a stray cat I'd never seen before. So I went over to it and my future hubby was sitting in his car in front of his house after a long day at work. He warned me to leave it alone. So our "matchmaker" was a skunk. I have a shelf full of them as mementos. My husband is a stinker! (not the smelly kind of course!) |
