Yep just as I thought it was! "Adansonia digitata" known as "The Tree of Life" as well as "The Up-side down Tree".

Hello

Thanks for your response, although I am slightly confused by your posting.
Do you have variegated Rose of Sharon, and variegated Kentucky Coffee Tree, or just the green variety?

This brings a valid point. For my variegated "wants" - they cannot be seed, as the percentage of variegated offspring will be very low, or zero.

So far, no luck on my list!

The green! tho that was why I asked for a pic of both if variegated of the leaves were colored differently and compare leaves. talk of variegated confuses me at times cos I never seen or learned the differance in it. I'am sorry for taking up too much time.

Hello

Plant Monkey - don't worry about spending time - this place is supposed to be all about learning, supposed to be....

Variegated refers to the leaf having blotches, splashes, stripes, bands (you get the idea?) of a different color other than the usual. Most variegated plants have white coloration on the leaf, but some have yellow, another shade of green, pink, red, blue-gray, silver, etc...

So, to clarify, a variegated Maple, for instance, would have a green leaf, with white markings on the leaf.

Yes, that's why it's such a challenge!

So, people, let's get going! Surely we can meet each other's challenges on some of these plants!
