Can you root honeysuckle cuttings?

I have a tone of wild honey suckle can it be cliped and rooted? If so I have some I can trade! I am gonna google it but thought I would check to see if anyone had first hand experience.
Thanks for any help!

Jessie-
for next spring-take some of the longer twigs and drop them to the ground and bury them about, oh, 10 inches from the end. Bury about three inches worth of twig just under the surface of the ground. It will root-may even only take a few weeks if you do it now. This is the best way to root it.
I have a hybrid pink honeysuckle that I sent starts to people this spring. While I know that if I rooted it myself, it would've grown, I think the trip stressed it too much. I'm not sure if anyone got theirs to root. It is easy to root while attached to the bush and its fairly easy to root as soon as it is cut. However, I suggest that you root it for people before you send it because it doesn't seem to do as well after shipping in the mail. I've only been sending rooted starts since I realized that the twigs weren't handling the trip.
And if anyone needs a new start of my hybrid-just let me know and I will try to replace yours. My pink vine took too many cuts to give any to new people before next year though. I'll be sure to get plenty of starts for the spring though if anyone wants any next spring. It doesn't smell as nice but it is a very pretty trellis plant.
Good luck to you!
-Donna

Thanks

Thank you for the tip. I have put some into water and I will see how they do. Do you think I should get some root starter?

Cuttings

They still havent rooted but I think it can take awhile. ok_nurse had a good tip about rooting it. I had already cut some before I read her post so I have a bunch of cuttings and I thought I would just give it a try since I had already cut them. I will definatly do what ok_nurse suggested next spring.
