Anyone have?????

Any aquarium plants for trade or postage? I would really like to find some Duckweed. But I would settle for just about anything. I have 3- 55 gal., 2 -30 gal. and 3 -10 gal. aquariums I need live plants for. Actually, this is my sons and my aquariums. He lives next door to me and needs some for his also. I have houseplants, seeds, annuals and perennials to trade. LMN if you have anything. Post here and send me a pm if you don't mind. Thanks for looking.

Deb

Duckweed

Go to ANY pond, and scoop some up - don't worry about the little bugs - people get all hyped up about them, but ...
Also, all pet stores have some hanging around their plant tanks. It comes in as a "weed" - they'll give you some.

I've been to alot of ponds around here and there aren't any Duckweed in them. I don't understand it. As for the pet shops. I haven't seen any at all at the one's around here that I go to either. That's why I'm looking for some of it.
I would gladly pay someone postage or trade for some it they can get me some.
Thanks,
Deb

I am sure that your ponds have rushes/cattails / other marginal plants. Duckweed will be growing on the surface amongst their stems. That is guaranteed
