i took some pictures on the way to woolarock not too long ago.. i was just going through images & figured i'd share some. this is oklahoma (well part of it anyway) where i live

- i just had to moon everyone. lol just kidding.. cloudy night skies here, i miss the stars! we can see some, but not like in other places. that's the only bad part about living here (aside from humidity, ticks & tornadoes)

It took me a while to appreciate the "wide open" ness of Oklahoma when I first came here. You could look in any direction and it looked like God covered us with a bright blue ceramic bowl like I have in my cupboard. (I love the blue skies here!)
Now I get claustrophobic when I go up north. So many trees and not enought view. I yusta think the countryside here was so barren-now the old homestead views look so "cluttered". Funny how we can learn to appreciate the beauty of a new home after a while. Keeps me from getting homesick like I yusta. It's prolly take me a while to appreciate the wooded countryside again if I moved up. We people are a weird breed.
Thanks for the pics-they are freeing (and beautiful!)

thank you hehe

here's some more:

^^ i didn't realize that the horses were in mourning (i guess one of them had died)... i was just like "wow! look at all those pretty horses!"... so i was snapping away, til someone pointed out that there was a dead one in there somewhere..

that one is a little crooked, cause i took it out of a car window lol but it's a little restaurant, isn't it cute?

i will upload some more later. i have to go to my friend's house, it's game night.
