I am looking all over my place but I don't find any beads, no pretty pots, no wire and certainly no crystal drops ... I think, I throw out stuff waaayyy toooo quickly

Its not me who throws stuff out, but my husband....one suggestion though gone tropical, if you are looking for crystal drops, i dont know if you have a thrift store near by, we do and i have seen them on some of the older style lamps that they sell for like 5 bucks.
