help with rooting cuttings

My stepfather built this for my mom and she gave it to me becaue she's moving. I'd like to experiment with rooting some cuttings from my plants in it. I have hydrangea, hibiscus, ninebark, butterfly bushes, Rhododendron, out of control wisteria and sweet pea vine, purple heart and lots more. Looking for suggestions on what would work in here and when to do it it's been in the 80s here lately. Is it too hot to use this now? All the sides are sliding windows so I could open if it's too hot/ humid. Also I was going to set it up on a stone patio in part shade?
