good everyone needs a hug!

Hey JDKline, I did like ya said cleaned bowling ball with alcohol, then ruffed it with sandpaper, my honey gave me some caulk, which I believe was old, dated 2007, did not work was gummy. So I took off the pieces I had put on, and went and bought some new door and window clear sealant, Trying again. Also what do you do for the holes, plug them with something? Help me out. Nothing ever goes right the first time. Help!!!!!!!!!!!

I just filled them with the silicone and then let it dry a bit before putting anything on that part of the ball.

Angie did you ever find glass paint? I used to have some I gave away that you had to bke the finished piece to make it permanent. So you'd have to take the panes out, bake them then caulk them back in.

Coolno paint yet

I don't want to totally wreck this thing. I am not gonna attempt to take panes out and bake them. No, No. I had used that window paint from ac moores, its easy, just don't think it would last real long outdoors. I had used this for small suncatchers in the past after a while they peel. I will have to keep lookin at paints. Right now I wanna get my bowling ball done ok so it does not fall apart. Then will figure something out with windows. Thanks all for the help!!!!!!!!!!Keep on craftin! And Diggin!
