LightbulbCalllllling all junkers! LOL

Care to share any of your finished or in the works garden crafts? I'll post pics of mine when I am finished. I'm working on soda bottle flowers, they are actually turning out to be cuter than I had imagined. LOL

Does anyone remember who made the milk crate planter? I was wondering where I could get sphagnum moss, that was a wonderful idea. I just happened to have a milk crate laying around collecting dust, I'm gonna make it collect dirt when I get to it!

That sounds fun!! I used to have an old tool box planter, but being old as it was, the bottom finally rusted out. I have a couple of junk fixer-uppers that I will share. Might take me a few days. This might just take time away from my plants...he he he...if I have to start crafting to compete with you guys!

I bought this old mop bucket at a flea market and painted it. I just have some rose moss in it right now.

My dad made this for me out of scrap wood he had lying around. You have to imagine that my mandivilla vine looks a little better than it actually does. Dog in the flowerbed doesn't do much for my plants!

Very pretty! Like your stuff. I got an old galvanized bucket free off craigslist and a piece of plastic trellis, was missing a bottom piece, my old man said some people will take anything, I made him take me. I just say shut up I will use it! Don't worry about it.He has 1000 pieces of fishin stuff so when he goes to Cabellos or Bass Pro I say how much did ya spend, Ok I get to buy that much in plants or such! Anyway I just spray painted my bucket put in a flower patch with plants. Not fancy paintin like yours though.

Stars and Moon things!

I have gotten hooked on anything that hassun stars and moon design on, have know idea why just really like have about 20 asst windchimes, and hanging pieces on my sunporch, hate to tell this one but after I hit 40, even got my first tattoo, sun and moon, with a few stars. Think it was a midlife thing? Maybe cause I ran out of room for winchimes. Anyway I ordered a mold for cement of course sunface, which I made about 20 and paint them, gave some away. Guess I should get something else, don't want to have to much of the same thing going on.

Shellee- You'll have no competition from me-your things look great! How talented! I just paint cartoons on walls for the kids. You take painting to a different level!
Angie- where'd you put that tat? Just curious-I'm 43 and was thinking to really p*** off my teenagers!! I thought maybe I would get a tattoo that said "No Shame" in some place where they would choke-like my posterior belt line. Maybe a big flower and a few dragonflies too!

Tattoo

Sorry no where illegal, on my upper arm bicep, so I can cover from my 98 yr old pop pop, grandfather. don't want to explain these things, although my daughter had her eyebrow pierced, and lip and I warned her while her great grandma was still alive she may question her, which she finally did once about 2 yrs ago before she past, she said what are those things? My daughter said new jewlery, and Gma did not ask anymore questions. New generation so go with the flow I guess.

Copy away, Deb. Like I said, my dad made it for me and it has been really handy, especially when I don't have something tall enough to go where I want...it gives some heighth to my flowerbeds. We have a lot of old fencing pickets that I have big plans for. Just have to get hubby on board! He has made me a potting stand out of picket, but I moved it in to put plants on last year and it has kind of been taken over by other things. I need to clean it off and post a pic of it. I can cut and saw...but can not hammer a nail for the life of me!
What do your sun faces look like ang? I have one that is terra cotta, and a clay chiminea that is a sun face.

sun faces

Asst terra cotta ones I buy plain and paint and also have a sm. chimnea on a stand I painted. My cement stones I just paint face 1 color and backround another, nothin fancy.I can use a hammer, but not good with those power tools, scare me! I stick to silicone or my handy hot glue gun.

Shellee, those are absolutely fantastic! Love the verses on the chair and bucket.

Ok_nurse, that's funny. There's always more than one way to skin a cat. So to speak. LOL! If you really want to blow their minds without the permanent tattoo, you could get a Henna Artist to do it, it will stay on for 2 weeks or more and looks like a real one!

Angie, please share your pics! I'd love to see a pic of that tatt too. (no pun intended LOL) I have a terra cotta sun, but haven't figured out what to do with it yet. Maybe your pics would inspire me to dig it out and do something with it.

Deb, if you do make the chair, please share pics! Maybe you could take pics of the whole step by step process, that would be awesome! I think I'll do that for the Well my MIL gave me, I'm gonna be working on that next. It's looking pitiful and a few pieces of the wood are missing, but I think I can get it repaired and looking cute.

I will see if I can rope one of the kids into manning the camera while I am working. Might be a bit. I have to dig the wood up first. I'm thinking if I asked for old skids off of freecycle that might be a good wood to make them out of.

Heres a project I did last year. I made about 6 of these and gave them all away.

You cant hardly tell on the pic but the top post has a solar light in it. I have some more posts cut up because I want to make some for myself. Hopefully I can resist giving them all away again.
