Can't wait to see it Angie, I've been trying to get an old ball from the alley without much success. Would love to have this project for the winter. Have to keep bugging them maybe I'll get one just so I leave them alone.

I found my ball at a thrift shop for like 2bucks, then kept looking for a mirror finally found a plain one for 2bucks. Check out your local thrift shops!

Good idea! Thank you very much, in fact we have a non-profit thrift near here that puts money into three local women's shelters/programs. They have EVERYTHING - in fact some of the stuff should be sent to the dumpster! I think I will check them out on Saturday...

Hey JD

I think I am ready to grout! Got the ball covered in mirror pieces, what was the sealer stuff I was to get I forget? That was to go over the grout correct?

bowling ball

Mybrother just bought a house and when I was first looking at his yard I said wow look at all of those gazing balls. However, when I took a closer look I noticed they were all bowling balls. I had never seen that before. And on some of them the prevous owner had broken up old tiles and plastered them to the balls. They look pretty neat. So now I know where this idea came from. To bad bowling balls weigh so much because I would be more than willing to ship them to yall. He has at least 20 in his yard and he has been trying to throw them in the trash. I do not know for how long I will be able to keep him from getting rid of them.

Angie just go to lowes and ask for a grout sealer. You should be able to buy a small applicator also. I cant wait to see it!!

That would be a shame to throw those away cereams, they take alot of work.
