Yea! My Hummers are back!

I just love watching these little birds. The little guy with the blue throat, I named "Sneaky Pete", because he hides close by to guard the feeder. The little girl with the red throat was shy and flew off backwards when I snapped the picture!!! I use sugar water = 1 cup sugar to 4 cups of water and they love it! I have 4 feeders out and several dozens of Hummers. Also discovered if I wear my red hoodie with my hood over my head, they will let me get closer to the feeder. Some of them even buzz around my head - guess they think I'm a big flower . Hope you enjoy!

That is so, so cool, HiLite! I am trying my darnest to attract hummingbirds, with all my brugmansias. I just bought a bottlebrush plant in hope that it will be irresistible to them (still not in bloom)... but so far, no hummies!

Love the pics! I am trying hard to make a nice humming bird habitat. But ourhummers come a little later we are z5 here and not to overly much food for them yet but we ar getting there. I have a feeder to put out but also want them to have as much natural food as possible.
They love fire cracker plants so I am on the hunt for some.

Thank you everyone for your nice comments. I also have lots of flowers that they will be able to eat from, but they're not in bloom yet. The feeders give them something to snack on until the real food comes along. I feel so blessed that they come visit me year after year.
