Gorgeous and beautifully decorated ponds, ARC! I join Sherie's applause
I can tell that a lot of love went into creating and keeping those.

Ponds with fish and flowers are wonderfully relaxing in the garden, aren't they?

Here is ours, not too very big, but quite nice to sit by, with the waterfall gurgling:
In this older pic, the shape and statuary is visible ...
... but this is more accurate now, most of those details obscured, with the Iris rather overgrown
and needing to be divided when the weather warms up ...

Some of our goldfishies and the Iris plants in bloom:

Zuzu, I love your pond and the iris,.....And the water hyacinth! I tried somea couple times, but my koi either tear them up in the front pond or they don't get enough sunlight in the backyard pond......

I've tried growing iris in mine but the water tends to be too deep or the roots clog the filters......

Both ponds have multiple water lilies, frog bit in the filters and sometimes dwarf papyrus........

The first pond is around 150 gallons and has only been up and running since this last spring, it has a mixture of fantailed goldfish and a few rosey minnows.....

The second pond is somewhere between 950 and 1,000 gallons, I have 5 koi (butterfly mutts) from 8 inches to nearly 2 feet and a dozen or so full grown shubunkins........

Lol, that pond is only three feet wide and the fence was put up to give the fish a chance, I have a two year old granddaughter and a three year old grandson living with me and weather permitting they are always trying to catch the fish ( or see how many rocks they can put in it before I catch them)

This is the gazebo we made from an old sattelite dish, and where we sit to view the waterwheel pond.
