Thanks, we just came across a ton of free yard pavers & brick
So we spent one afternoon putting a layer in the greenhouse. It flooded so bad in there last week, we hope a layer of brick pavers helps with the flooding. We're supposed to have more rain coming next week.

Thanks Bob,
I am not much for the cold weather either, that's why we live as far south in Texas as we could get. Helps family was from Galveston

I'm sure you all up north get ready for winter way eariler than I do. Most of my plants stay outside through Oct, usually. We just put the last few potted plants into greenhouse today. Are tempertures are suppose to get cooler & wet.

Do many of you have greenhouses?
If so,
Whats the easiest way you've found keeping it warm?

Kathy how cold does it get where you live. I was just wondering seeing that you have your plants inside a greenhouse.

Like my new water fountain, set it up in the greenhouse. We received it from freecycle. When we go... - http://pinterest.com/pin/354025220683013527/

Your GH looks like a little slice of Heaven, Cathy!

One of my favorite things is the earthy smell when I step into my GH in winter
-- don't you just LOVE that?

We use an oil-filled radiator (electric) in our 12x12 GH, it has worked for us for many years.

Talking

Thx Zuzu, it is like a lil slice of heaven right here on earth. I just love it, also. It is connected to the backside of our leanto behind our garage, we're planning to enlarge area next year, so we can utilize 1/2 of the leanto.

It was a lot of hard work (fall 2013) building it, in the summer the walls are removed, and most plants taken ourside.

When building it, (I even got to count all the hrs of all my physical activity used, which converted to miles walked to help my team "SeaAggie Shakers", WIN our wellness competition last year, "Walk Across Texas" trying to get employees motivated to "Get Movin". I was team captain & our team got 3 of the 4 - 1st place trophies (they're all on my desk @work). This yrs wellness challenge, we invited all employees to come out, and join a bowling league. We tried to get a few teams setup, however the night of event, we headed to bowling alley early..... and waited for others to show up.... We waited, and waited, and finally the HR lady setting it up, trying to get it going showed up. So we waited, waited, waited some more-but noone else from work showed up. We attended the hr long mtg, to see how many people would be needed, etc.
So needless, to say we arent current working on a fall wellness challenge.

We all could start our own wellness challenge, "Walk Across America" if anyones up for a New Year's Challenge.
LMK
Let's get it on, I've got several pounds/inches to loose. It'll be even better, bc you'll be doing something you love, "Gardening".
