CoolGnome Home?

I wasn't sure if I should post this in the Pests forum ...
but I'm hoping that we can co-exist peacefully.

As I was strolling today, I found this tucked away behind a stack of rocks in my secret garden.
It seems that some small garden resident found this old cast iron fireplace door that I have had in my "scrap heap"
and decided that it would serve nicely as his new front entry.
How the little guy ever managed to drag it all the way over here and get it set up, I'll never know ...
Aw, look, he even has a tiny potted fern, and a little mushroom growing right by the doorway,
apparently he's a gardener too ... how bad could he be?

So, has anyone else got a gnome infestation?
Anything I should know???

That is ingenious! What a clever little fellow. I believe he had a little help getting that moved. Keep an eye out for signs of his friends. They are lovely creatures.

Well, this put a smile back on my face this morning.

How adorable! I love the little path to his doorway, and those mushrooms! It looks like it belongs in a story book.

HAHAHA love it. Maybe he had the ants help him move it there. I hear they are truly hard workers. And they will work for crumbs.

That is so adorable! I'll bet that gnome will share that space with perhaps some friends, keep your eyes peeled.
