first closed terrarium

I know this won't last very long becsuse I didn't separate the rocks from the soil with moss or even add charcoal. I just wanted to see if I could. Lol
I put rocks on the bottom added potting mix and a rooted swedish ivy "stump". Tamped it down and watered. This is a chambord bottle with a small cork from some other liquor.lol I work in a pub... ha ha
Anyway.. I'll see if anything grows.

That is really cool, Pinkham. I hope it does well for you and I think the bottle is great.
Those geckos on the wall are superb. I saw some just like those at a nursery that I frequent and wished I had bought one. Wonderful.

Thanks R.C i love that gecko too. I hope the ivy grows. If it doesnt, I'm going to start again but probably use a single sensitive plant (mimosa) seed.

Thumbs up

Oooo, and suddenly I am craving a Kir Imperial ...
... ... oh wait, what were we talking about?

Oh right, Pinkham's fantastically cool idea for a terrarium! So creative, love it!

We use a decent amount of tequila too. I think I'll save the next cuervo 1800 bottle and scrape off the label. It's a really nice bottle with a fairly fat neck....and had a glass top.

When's the Margarita Party, Pinkham.

Probably a sipping Tequila, I imagine?

Should look great.

I get the bottles from work, although a tequila party would be so fun.
