I don't know. I found it on the side of the road. It smells good though. Be my luck its probably a weed.... a weed that smells good and its pretty. I just kinda figured that it might be some kind of wildflower or something.

Looks like Sabatia angularis to me (commonly called "Rose Pinks"), or something closely related.

Yay! thats it zuzu! Thank you for finding it. I just thought it was so pretty. What i dont understand is that it says that its usually found in southern illinois. I dont live there. As a matter of fact, i dont even live in illinois. Thanks again zuzu!

Ah, well that is probably because the site that I linked to (mainly because it had pretty photos) happens to be an Illinois wildflower site - but here is a USDA site with a map showing the broader range where this one grows:
