Mystery Fern

Hi,
I have a fern my mom gave me a couple of years ago. Neither one of us knows what it is. I was wondering if anyone here recognizes it? Thanks All.

Hi, and welcome

There are several species of ferns which have a similar appearance to my eye - but my first guess might be Microsorum diversifolium, commonly called "Kangaroo Fern".

I've never heard of a kangaroo fern,
If you ever clip it back, keep me in mind. I would like a piece. I had a few ferns, from gr-ma's she had for generations, we couldn't get rid of it. We moved, and I forgot to bring a few with me (but I still have access to get some, I think it's still growing there). I planted a bit, at a rental on the island so it will so spread like wildfire, and I'll have to divide it. I almost thought it looked like a fig leaf.

You are quite welcome I do hope I've made the right guess for your plant - it can be tricky from just a photo.
I grow one of those which bears a strong resemblance (to my eye, at least), Polypodium aureum (aka Phlebodium aureum) - one of it's common names is "Cabbage Palm Fern".
