Questiondon't know what this plant is

this plant was given to me a few weeks ago and I was told that it was plumeria. when I look plumeria up it doesn't look anything like this plant. the leaves on my plant are thick and waxy. it kind of reminds me of a succulent. I hope someone knows what it is.

Wow! I think you nailed it tsilentseed! Thank you so much! is it common for someone to call it plumeria by mistake? when she told me the name of it I knew it wasn't right but I didn't say anything because she was just telling me what she was told. I couldn'tbelieve how big the leaves are and it was in terrible condition. I cut alot of it out and repotted it. I am hoping that it will grow nice and healthy now.

You are very welcome! And no - that is quite an appalling mistake to make. Plumeria is a tree - not even close. Maybe they have one, but gave you this "instead" ?
Cuttings are super easy to take - just cut, let air dry for a day or two, plant, and stand back

oh, well thank you for telling me what it is tsilentseed. I really appreciate it. the cuttings I did cut from it because of the bad condition it was in I just stuck in the dirt so I'm glad you said that because I didn't know if I was doing it right or not. i just thought it was worth a try to try to save what I had to cut off. I'm so glad I won't kill it because it is one of the things that I can grow well. I have a few different epis and rhipsalis already but alot smaller than this one. I'm on cloud nine over this now!

yep, it is! but the only reason I was given this and some other huge plants is because they have to move and they are moving to a smaller place in another state and can't take all of them. I may end up with more before it's over. I am very appreciative though because this expands my plant collection.
