Talkinglifesaver cactus

I just bought myself a lifesaver cactus, and they are the coolest looking flower on them!!!I think PUD has one if ya don't no what they look like. Anyway, can you root cuttings of these from pieces???? I'm not real good with cactus and was wandering, I thought if you can root pieces, I'm willing to share with some here so ya can see how cool these are! Let me know and if so I'll see about sending some pieces out to swappers!!!!!!!

Do you mean a Stapeliad? Like Huernia or Stapelia?
see link http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&e...w=1440&bih=799

If so then yes, you can propagate by cuttings. These are in the Milkweed family and not cacti at all.

mine gets burgundy flowers as well and I kept mine in the shade this year on my pourch. Mine frooze over the winter last year but a couple pieces and now it is back to normal. A very fast grower it is. GT I am sure with all your talent you will be able to bring it back to looking great in no time.
