Holiday types of Cactus

Is there somone on here that is a Holiday Cactus enthusiast? I am in the process of uploading pictures to my albums here and got comments on my Christmas and Easter Cactus. One person is telling me I am wrong in the names. I have been going by the date they bloom, but now have looked up some info on the net and find it has more to do with the edges of the leaves...is this right? I would like some help here.
Thanks,
SeeksRoots

They can also bloom at any time of year. In 2008 my christmas cactus bloomed in spring and fall. Depends on how they like their environment.

Bali..
I have tried to add pictures before (the little yellow letter looking icon that says Insert Image when you run the mouse over it) and it won't work for me. Yet, I can upload pictures to my album. Is it because I have stupid Vista on my computer? Or am I doing something wrong?

Question

Did anyone direct you to upload your photos first to PhotoBucket ?
The way most do it here.

Join it an upload photos, after they are loaded you copy the bottom line.
Run your pointer across the photo and the box below drops, copy the last line and paste it on here.

Hope this works.

That is a great link for showing the differences in the leaves, better than any of the sites I was looking at! Thank You!

Huh? Photo bucket is not a term I am familiar with. Okay, went and looked at the pictures I havce already uploaded to my albums. They have a URL code and a BB code. Is that what you mean? Which one do I use?

(Thanks for the help.)

SR, ifyou google Photobucket you will see it is a place to upload your photos. It is super easy to sign up and store alot of pics. After you upload a pic you can move your mouse over it and copy the last code. Then you can paste that in posts.

But you may find something else that works better for you.

Christmas and thanksgiving are the same thing, they are sold around christmas. Other than easter cactus, which do not have them, every other plant i've seen has. I have 2 christmas cactus i'll show you pictures of

Oh the thanksgiving and christmas are both Schlumbergera regardless of leaf shape.

Easter is related to rhipsalis. However its spelled. Its name is Rhipsalidopsis, close relative.
