Cactus, Unknown Name

Hi, I need help identifying this cactus. I bought it from a lady in the next town over from me. She had no idea what it was called. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Just looked in your photo albums deb and saw a pic of an unknown cactus you posted yesterday, is this the one you were asking about? I've never seen anything like it, it's pretty amazing! Hope you'll have luck finding out what it is.

The unknown cactus picture looks like some kind of opuntia.

Hi there,
If it is the whitish/green succulent, then that's an Opuntia monacantha variegata. Careful, it does have glocchids.

glochids are small barbed hair-like spikes.

the tiny "invisible" spines that you don't see, but feel! (As opposed to the visible spines.)

Hi deb_b,
I upload all of my photo's from either Photobucket &/or Imgur. Both are free and quite user friendly. Able to post multiple photo's also.
Hope this helps.
