barrel cactus babies

I planted these barrel cactus last fall. They spent the winter growing slowly in my basement under the grow lights. I repotted them today and thinned out the herd. I hope they start growing a little faster now. They are all still under an inch tall.

You start them in your basement? Do you keep it warm and how many hours under a grow light? I would love to try seeds, I Love my succulents, what a great way to get whatever kind you want! Great job!

They were under a grow light in the basement.. The light was on 10 or 12 hours a day.
