What do you see when you look out the window?

Tour us around your yard. Tell us where you live (zone, or state, you don't have to be too specific)

I'll start the tour. I live in FL, on a transitional zone 8B/9A with a warm microclimate due to the tree canopy of the Hammock I live in. This is a photo of a natural bog garden we have down the slope from our pool, right before the dense woods begins

ohdearohdear, I want to live where you live!!!
I am smack in the middle of a subdivision, houses all around me, so no beautiful wilderness next door. But I have my backyard to look at....

Yeh but your yard is great. I used to live in the Historic District here in big G, ahere the houses are so close together you don;t need a telescope to spy into your neighbors window, LOL. This was a portion of my yard then, at the old house.

This is one of the beds by my pool now, at the new house. I say new, we've been here since 2002, but I lived at the other house for almost 12 years so this is still new, LOL

Printemps, I LOVE those variegated water lilies!!!!! OMG I'll have to come visit and bring some trades. I wish I could have that, but everything you and GT have would freeze here. ~Sobs~ You gals have done a wonderful job. I'd like to find a big black tub like that printemps, what would it cost and can it be sunk into the ground?

Actually that one IS sunk in the ground here at the new house. I have it basically for a holding pond for aquatic/terrestrial stuff that I want to proliferate over winter then plant out in spring, like colocasias. I did that with these, now I have a huge bed of them in back (Illustris)

Those have been there for about 5 years. This past year I used it to propagate Nancy's Revenge, which loves water

I am jealosy! You guys all have lovely layouts there!

And... I'm not posting mine as mine is a pair of houses in the front with a sad rosebush and a driveway in the back with shumack. My jungle has to stay indoors.
